DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Office Calendar No. 4" wall clock, 8 day, spring driven movement with perpetual calendar mechanism showing on the lower dial in a rosewood veneered case.
CONDITION:
The case retains its original finish with a few scratches and a small loss of veneer on the upper bezel ring. Full label inside door. Painted metal dials appear to be original with some yellowing on the edges and paint loss around mounting screws. The upper dial has been touched up a little around the winder arbor hole. Paper calendar rollers look old and may be original. Hands are original. Signed Seth Thomas movement has its stopworks intact. The upper glass is wavy, while the lower one is not. Spade hands and brass clad pendulum are all old and probably original.
